The company operates a fleet of vacuum trucks ranging in capacity from 6500 litres to 19,000 litres with trailer units. 

These are despatched to collect waste material on a regular contract, casual and emergency basis. These vehicles are available 24 hours of the day if the need arises.  

The material is drawn into the truck by an integral vacuum pump. The trucks transport the waste material and directly discharge into the appropriate quarantine or treatment system.

The Company also operates a packaged waste collection service with either its own or subcontracted vehicles.

Transportation Documentation

Transportation of all substances is governed by the NZS5433:1999 (Transport of Hazardous Substances on Land) regulations. According to these regulations, before wastes can be transported they must be identified, classified and documented by customers on a waste declaration form provided prior to disposal. 

• Nuplex Environmental customer service personnel are available to assist customers should help be required. This service includes the preparation of appropriate documentation for transport, placarding of tankers and trucks, and labels for the transport of packaged goods and drums. 
• The safe transportation of wastes is an essential part of the disposal process and must be addressed as much as the subsequent treatment steps.
