Sarah grew up in Dannevirke and did ballet for years,then in 2003 she went to UCOL and got a certificate in Performing Arts. From there she went on to Eastern Institute of Technology and graduated in 2005 with a Diploma in Performing Arts: Drama.

She then moved to Wellington and studied Film and TV production at Avalon Film & TV School. Upon graduating in 2006 she won the awards for Best Final Video and Best Production Management. She has since been working full time in the film and TV industry. Last year her documentary ‘Natural Burials’ screened at the Wellington Fringe Film Festival.

She found the Improvisors in 2007 as one of our first ever auditionees.

Sarah is also now building a name for herself in stand-up comedy. She has been all over the globe this year taking her stand-up to fringe festivals and comedy festivals wherever they'll have her!
