Pete Doile was born and raised in Lower Hutt. During his early life at school and as a butcher drama had nothing to do with his life. Pete's passions were the outdoors and watersports.

Five years ago Pete started attending improv workshops and has been with The Improvisors ever since. Pete has a strong physical style of improv and this is certainly helped by his extensive background in sports. Rugby, Grid-iron, Water Polo and multi-sports are all passions of Pete's. He also holds a 1st degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do.

According to Pete none of the thrill he gets from playing sports compares to the feeling he gets from from being onstage. Pete is now also becoming a more familiar sight on TV having made appearances as a New World butcher (which in real life is his job) in TV commercials as well as ads for the Telecom Lions tour and Panasonic. Pete also moonlighted as a security guard in the 2003 kids TV show "Wanda's Way".

As well as being a new Dad Pete found time to help his team "The Merry Court of Gagsalot" become the 2009 Wellington Theatresports champion side.
