Nik grew up in Central Otago where she threw herself at anything related to drama and music.

She trained in Television, Theatre and Radio at Dunedin's Otago School of media in 2001 and 2002 before heading off to travel and work in Australia.

In 2007 Nik moved to Wellington to immerse herself in our performing arts culture and joined The Improvisors soon after. She enjoys the sheer chaos of improvisation.
