Aaron grew up in Christchurch and began his theatre career as part of the Hagley Theatre Company before coming to Wellington to train at Toi Whakaari - The NZ Drama School.

Since graduating Aaron has performed at Circa Theatre, Downstage Theatre as well as theatre productions at both Christchurch's Court Theatre and the Fortune Theatre in Dunedin. Aaron has recently been appointed to the position of Marketing Manager at Downstage Theatre

For much of 2005 Aaron found himself hooked up to the same technology that allowed Andy Serkis to create Gollum - this time it was so Aaron could provide the motion capture performances for the new children's animated series Jane and the Dragon.

Aaron was a member of the 2008 Theatresports Champion team The Other Side.
