As part of our celebration of NZPTA's 50th year, we launched School Cookies last year and we were thrilled at its immediate success. We are very much on our way to establishing School Cookies as the standard annual fundraising event for New Zealand schools.

This year we are delighted to announce that TV3 has kindly agreed to support our campaign. Although the greatest profile will come from schools such as yours actively promoting this event within your own communities, having additional support from a national TV network will certainly add another dimension to School Cookies.

In addition to TV3, we would also like to thank the New Zealand Police, NZ Post, Griffin's and of course all our volunteers and support staff for their continued contribution in making this event possible.

We had many great individual success stories in 2001. We are confidant that this year will be even better, and look forward to hearing about these and to share them with other schools. We would also value general feedback to help us improve the event for future years. To facilitate this we have both an 0800 number and a website. We encourage you to utilise these resources to help us make "School Cookies" a successful and enjoyable experience for all.
