The Staff Page

SBT is now in our tenth year of trading. Our Head Office is still located in New Brighton, with another 3 offices located in the Chch CBD, Auckland and Dunedin. SBT is managed by Warwick Sykes,(father of three, with his 5 year old son James (known as "the youngest member of the firm"). The Staff at SBT are:

Admin:    Donna Stewart, Aja Trinder and Carol Jenkins. Donna is the head of all things admin, aswell as being a driver for the shuttle side of the business (when necessary). Aja is referred to as the super-office girl, she is responsible for the website, posters, brochures etc. Carol is our despatcher extraordinaire, and surreptitiously known as (by all but Warwick) as the manager :-)

Shuttle Bus Transport and the All Nighter: Our drivers are "The Salt of the Earth" some are Full Time, others Part Time, some casual and on call. At present; Sylvia, Brian, Lex and of course Warwick and Donna cover the days. Our night operation is well covered, under the supervision of Les (our nightshift supervisor) ably assisted by Mark, Lex and Steve. Our day drivers are often called on to assist at night aswell.

Caroline, Kate, Ron, Mayne, John, Simon, Richard and Joe are part of our casual or on call team. Bob

Our very popular All Nighter service - which is a scheduled run from the centre of the city every hour on the half hour, from 12.30am to 5.30am - is normally driven by Steve, with assistance from any of our other drivers (including Warwick) as maybe necessary.

The Mainlander

The "Dunedin Boys" as they are known are under the direct supervision of our Dunedin Manager, Mick Steele, who himself drives four days each week. Gary drives on Sundays, Irish on Mondays and Paul on Tuesdays. Willie helps out when necessary, as does Steve. When passenger loadings require it, the Christchurch drivers also help out and, from time to time, even former drivers have been know to be "press ganged".

Repair, Maintenance and Technical Advisory

Bob Williamson is our very much appreciated Technical Advisor with many years experience as an A-Grade mechanic. Simon 'The Great' Lucas is our Panelbeater, painter and Miscellaneous fix-it-upper. Both are very valued members of the SBT Team.
