Claire's stunning 4 year old Rafe who has recently been
backed is at Raupapa for schooling - what honey to
ride. With the fantastic weather have been having
recently even the horses are loving the work and
attention.
The horses enjoy the facitlites all year around. I couldn't help but take this
pic of Tess enjoying a midday nap in the shade of the stable after a fully
tummy of hay.
Next stop is to Auckland tomorrow to see a prospective young horse to bring on for myself - a
warmblood by Landioso. Fingers crossed.

The girls travelled down yesterday safely and arrived heading towards dark last night from the
breeders. They were exceptionally calm given the brand new propety and were more interested
in the fresh grass than the new surrondings - perfect. The next steps will be halter training,
general handling and tying up for Majick.

Congratulations to Kate Edmonson and Showfields Contessa and Raupapa Rhapsody, Keren
Rooke and Golden Touch and Louise Head and Bledisloe for fantastic results at the recent
Wellington Summer Dressage Series. The girls returned home with many ribbons and some of
the best marks they have ever achieved - fantastic work!

Star had her first outing at the 2nd of the second of the Summer
Dressage Series. She did fantastically well and is preparing for
her first in hand show on 20th Feb. At just 12 months old, she is
showing great trainability.
