Menus and Ideas

Your function should be a unique event, special and particular to you. For that reason it is impossible to give a quote without the benefit of personal consultation. However, to help you at this early stage of your decision-making process, I have briefly outlined below a small sample of the extensive range we are able to offer:

Entree: Antipasto Platter - Smoked & Marinated Mussels, Prawns, Salami, Cheeses, Pasto, Tomato - served with a selection of sliced breads.
Main Course: Roast Sirloin - seared medium rare with condiments.
Chargrilled Salmon Steaks - served with mango and lime sauce.
Chicken Kababs - marinated in lemon and tarragon.
Carvery of hot ham on the bone served with mustards and cranberry.
Baked Baby Potatoes with fresh rosemary and garlic.
Broccoli and Cauliflower florets with Parmesan and parsley crumble.
Sweet baby Carrots with sesame glaze.
Fresh Salads - choose from a large selection of freshly prepared salads.
Bread and bun display with oils and butters.

Your choice of courses and service will determine the ultimate cost of your function and I look forward to the opportunity of meeting you personally to create that unique menu for your memorable occasion. I am most happy to visit you at your home.

Our Policy on Charges, Payments and Bonds 

The prices quoted are for a minimum of adult numbers (Please see quoted minimums with each set of menus). Children age up to 10 years are charged at 1/2 price, with the exception of no children's prices for Budget Finger Food, After Five, Morning and Afternoon Tea and Disposable Fully Catered menus, i.e. with these menus the prices have no discount for Children.

We guarantee you a set price for your menu when you make your booking by paying a deposit. An amount of no less than one third of the expected total is the deposit. However if the number of guest drop, this will place the price per person under review with the possibility of an increase per person attending or the original amount will still be charged.

The number of guests can increase with only the extra cost per person being charged plus any additional cost that may result due to the increase of numbers.

The final balance of payment must be paid no less than 10 days prior to the function date, unless other payment arrangements have been agreed in writing with Occasions Caterers.

Bond requirement for catering services

A minimum Bond of $500 is required to cover any breakages, losses to any of our catering equipment and property. For functions a higher amount would usually be required in the form of a Bond. The Bond will be refunded in full 10 days after the function date if no loss or damaged occurred. However if any loss or damage to equipment or property has occurred, then the amount will be subtracted from the Bond with the balance being refunded to the client.

If the amount of damage/loss exceeds that of the Bond then the client will be required to pay for the total sum outstanding. A Bond is not required for disposable type functions.

We only guarantee our catering services when the clients has paid the deposit and Bond. We also require the client to sign and date this agreement.

NOTE - Any changes to amounts and time will be duly noted on this form and signed by the director or appointed person from Occasions Caterers Ltd before the signing of the client.
