Oamaru Heritage Celebrations 2001 - Victorian Fete Sun 18th Nov

Held each November in the Historic Precinct, the 2001 Victorian fete attracted a large crowd, including a steam train full of visitors from Dunedin, as well as many overseas visitors. The milky sky and moderate northerly winds were an improvement on recent years, and this all added to a great and authentic atmosphere.

A warm welcome awaited people arriving, and the chance to try some old time skills for themselves.
