There are several 'languages' used in the creation of a website. Which languages you use and in which mix you use them will decide how your site ends up. Take our site for example, the majority of the work is done in HTML with enough of what is called JAVA to add some life. On this page are links to examples of the most common languages used at Kagil.

JAVA - Run your mouse over the blue column on the left of your screen. See how the cursor effects the links? This is created using JAVA.

FLASH - If JAVA gives your website life, FLASH can make it sing. It requires the user to have a 'decoder' installed on their computer. Later edition web browsers have this almost as a matter of course, however it is still a consideration. Flash also takes up a lot of room, therefore can take some time loading onto the screen.

CGI - This is an effective method of turning your site into a communication tool. There are as many uses for CGI as there are sites using it however two of the most common are as an online order form or a guestbook for visitors to your site to leave messages for subsequent visitors to see.
