Q:        What Camera Equipment do you use?

A:          We use HDV and DV Cam Video Camera’s. Similar to television broadcast cameras to produce professional image and professional microphones for superb sound reproduction.

Q: How do we get started?

A:          The first thing would be to contact us from our details on this website. Once that is done we will work out a time and place to meet for a consultation so that you can discuss your needs. Usually we would meet at our location.

Q:        Do you have examples of your work?

A:            We have many variations of completed projects that we can show you on consultation. We are also in the process of releasing a demo reel DVD that will expose our services to the public. Along with letters of satisfied customers. In fact some of the customers asked and will be, on the demo reel as they were that keen to promote our services.

Q:        What discounts do you offer?

A:         Most packages require a non refundable deposit. Discounts will be given for full payment at time of booking.  It is best to contact us where we will be able to give you the best price for the service you require.

Q:        During the Wedding or Event will you be intrusive?

A:         Let’s be honest every one knows when there’s a Camera around. As part of our service we will view the venue beforehand and work with you to obtain the best coverage. We also like to attend the rehearsal to work out our shots and positions. We make every effort to capture your wedding or event tastefully, remaining as discreet as possible. Lighting may be required if light is particularly poor, such as if lights are off during your dance.

Q:        Why do we need a Professional Video Service?

A:            If you are going to do it then do it right. If the event is important, then place importance into the memories of your event. Always seek a professional who knows what they’re doing, and that you can have confidence in.

Having Photo’s is great, and we highly recommend it, but the first thing you want to see is always the video. Why? Because still images can only say so much, but video says it all! Think about it. Why do we love movies? Rent videos? Watch television? We become immersed in the stories that are brought before us through sound and moving images. Our clients constantly contact us to tell us they keep watching their video’s again and again and again.

Q:        What makes Immortal Light Pictures so Unique?

A:          Immortal Light Pictures is dedicated to the individuality of each client. We do not duplicate the same service but aim to make our work an investment for your life or business. We do not appreciate cheap gimmicky effects like we’ve often seen. How often do you see these in films or leading television programmes. Never! Because it’s cheap and gimmicky. Lot’s of effects a good video does not make. We try to recreate the emotion of your life events and give your vision a voice.

Q:        What will my Video look like?

A:         Immortal Light Pictures by default will capture your event in wide format 16x9. This is closer to cinematic scope and allows more information into the shot. It is also the way the human eye focuses horizontally rather than vertically. And again this is future proofing your investment as the majority of modern television monitors are in 16x9 due to higher levels of detail. If asked other wise we can accommodate to the lesser format of Pan & Scan 4x3.

Q:        How long will it take to receive my Wedding or Event DVD?

A:         Usually it takes no longer than 6 weeks. However depending on content, delays can occur. Such as waiting for your Photographer’s photo’s, or their permission to use their content. The sooner you submit the necessary content to us the sooner you will receive your DVD. Of course completed payment is also required. In times of the year when it gets particularly busy we reserve the right to extra time. We will not give you a rushed end product unless you really require it. We give each job thorough quality control.

Q:        Will my DVD player play your discs?

A:         Immortal Light Pictures is not held responsible for your equipment, as we use high quality discs at final render. Some DVD players are known to be of poor value and are limited to what they can play, particularly rental discs. However our discs are quality controlled and are tested on numerous players and we have not yet had issues with player ability. Our DVD’s will not be zone controlled unless it is requested.

Q:        How soon should I Make contact?

A:            Avoid disappointment by missing out from someone who got in first. For a Wedding for example even a year in advance is always a good idea to make sure that date is free. I would suggest at least 6 months prior. Also consider the date of the event if you need a video presentation for that day then you need to make contact months before to ensure it will be well and truly ready in time. In other words its never too early, but it could be too late.
