- Lynn is an examiner for the American Jazz Dance Affiliation
- After many years teaching and nurturing, HCDC is a studio to be very proud
of. We are proud of the fact that hundreds of young (and not so young)
students pass through our hands each week. We hope to make a deep impression
in their lives and share our love of dance and music with all who cross our
paths. We also relish the opportunity of helping to develop some very
special teachers through our Studio

- Has developed HCDC's unique and much sought after style of Hip Hop Dance
- Master Teacher of Hip Hop @ Hutt City Dance Centre
- BBC Network Production - Tweenies (Bella) Garfield & Odie,
- Choreographed International 7's performers
- Admires dedication and hardwork and loves to watch students' abilities
evolve and grow
- Directed, Designed and Co-Choreographed the acclaimed Hip Hop shows Sinda (06)
and Greased (07).

SOPHIE
- Assists/Teaches Jazz and Hip Hop.
- Has won many awards for her dance and singing talents
- Performed in dance shows, musicals, caberet and TV
- Member of 'Oracle Crew' and danced in Sinda (06) and starred as Sandy in
their Hip Hop version of Grease 07 and choreographed for the 08 show 'Roc'
- She has attained Disctinction in her major ADJA Jazz exams and has just
completed her Phoenix Workshop Scholarship in Sydney at Urban Dance Centre.
- Sophie's sparkling smile makes her a favourite when teaching young dancers
at school holiday programes and Hip Hop Workshops throughout New Zealand and
the greater Wellington area.

DONNA - Donna joins
us this year from her full on position as Head of Dance and Drama at Taita
College.
- At home now with her 2 young children Donna is teaching our very energetic
pre-schoolers classes on a Sat morning. 'Lil Stars' incorporates dancing,
singing and learning to take instruction in a group situation. Students will
learn to remember choreography and sing to their favourite Wiggles and other
children's songs.
- Come along on a Saturday morn, watch a class and chat to Donna if your
budding dancer would like to join in. |

DONNA - Donna has
been attending Hutt City Dance Centre for many years and has been involved
with many shows and cabarets.
- She has loved performing at International sporting events including the
International 7s.
- Donna enjoys watching her young students develop and enjoy their dancing. |

KATE
- Kate has
studied at HCDC from a very early age and now as an Advanced student is
loving to share her passion for dance by assisting Lynn with Jazz classes
and also teaching her own Hip Hop classes.
- She has performed in many shows and entertainment groups.
- Her time is divided between Uni and a double degree and her love of Dance.

LESLIE - Leslie is a
real entrepreneur of performing. Excelling in Tap, studying Jazz, Ballet and
Singing - there is not much this talented young man has not achieved in the
entertainment scene as he heads towards his goal of having recently been
awarded a 3 year scholarship to study in England.
- This year Leslie is sharing his talents and teaching Tap and Hip Hop to
our eager young dancers

JULIE - Julie hails
from Belgium and her 2nd year with HCDC sees us starting an additional
Contemporary class for our younger students.
- Julie's experience as a student and teacher in Europe adds another
wonderful dimension for our dancers. Her expressive approach to contemporary
dance builds confidence and shading to their performances.
