In the light of recent media coverage on TV3 concerning the unfortunate shooting incident involving various car clubs throughout Auckland, we the Chosen Few Car Club find it necessary at this time to clarify certain points that were raised. Firstly, we do not condone the shooting and view it as a senseless act of random violence. We do not have any involvement nor accept any responsibility for the shooting. Claims that we are a gang are also not true. We are not affiliated with any gangs nor do we participate in any activities associated with gang behavior. Anyone found among our members with this type of involvement will have their membership terminated. We regret the whole incident and pray a speedy recovery to the victim of the shooting.
