Kay Mitchell is the creative genius behind the Bungee Ball. Her black cat Puddy provides essential feline artistic influence.

Originally from London UK, Kay has settled in Christchurch after spending time working in Sydney, Australia at the famous "Rocks" market. The Bungee Balls concept was conceived during this time, but Kay waited until she arrived at the Arts Centre Market in 1997 to launch her baby!

In addition to her creative talents, Kay has a pretty mean academic background with a degree in Law and Business from the University of Derby in England. She has also recently qualified as a Primary School Teacher from the Christchurch College of Education.

In her spare time, Kay loves to play netball, work out in the gym, ride her bike and hang out with her friends and flatmates.
