services to the marine industry at all ports in New Zealand and the Pacific
region.
Works are carried out to all of the main Classification Society Standards

- Hellenic Register of Shipping (Greece)
- Korean Register of Shipping (Korea)
- Panama Bureau of Shipping (Panama)
Our staff are experienced with all aspects of marine work and are available
to carry out installations on board vessels both in port and at sea.
An extensive range of marine classified cable is held at our workshops
and we have the necessary contacts both in New Zealand and abroad to source
any type of marine classified electrical equipment.
Some of the more recent works we have carried outare as follows:
- Installation of 132 additional reefer sockets, circuit breaker panels,
main circuit breakers and busbar modifications on board the China Navigation
Company vessel "Chitral". Works were carried out over a number of coastal
voyages and completed during a voyage at sea.
- Installation of two banks of air-conditioning plant heating elements
and associated control modules over a 36 hour period at Auckland on
board the Blue Star Line vessel "Melbourne Star"
- Modification of the existing Seacon refrigeration plant and installation
of additional reefer sockets on board the Blue Star Line vessel "Brisbane
Star" during a voyage of the vessel from Los Angeles to Auckland.
- Dismantling, removal, rewinding, reassembly and recommissioning of
two 900 kW alternators during a voyage of the methanol tanker "Bow Explorer"
around the New Zealand coast.
