Waimate
High School has proudly served the Waimate area of South Canterbury,
New Zealand since 1929. At Easter weekend, 2004 the school celebrated
its 75th Jubilee.
In the past 75+ years we
have built up a very fine record of academic, cultural and sporting
achievements. Many of our ex-students have left our community and are
now living and working in many different countries around the world.
Many still keep in contact with their "old school".
Today, we are a decile 4 school of 380 Year 7 to 13 students.
