Urban Pest Management was taken over by George Hall  (Bill) on 21st December 1998. Qualifications:- Holder of a New Zealand Pest Control License (No:- 994) as well as being certified by the New Zealand Health Dept. in the use of Methyl Bromide, Cyanide, Chloropicrin and Phosphine fumigants. Urban Pest Management holds Level One Accreditation for Quarantine Fumigations. August 2001 - Registered as Limited Liability Company. September 2001 - Approved as sole operator for Quarantine Treatment Centre. November 2001 - Level 1 Accreditation Dipping and Dusting. November 2002 - Level 1 Accreditation Formalin Vacuum & Atmospheric December 2002 - Level 1 Accreditation Heat Treatments

 

Alan Poole joined the team at Urban Pest Management in July 2002 after a short but well earned trip overseas. Since arriving Alan has designed and built a new Dipping Facility, Gas dispencing system plus numerous storage facilities on behalf of the Quarantine Treatment Centre. Alan is now fully certified to undertake any of the Treatments carried out on site. i.e. Formalin Vacuum and Atmospheric, Dipping & Dusting, Heat, Methyl Bromide and Phosphine.

 

Our aim is to provide a full professional Fumigation service to all Import and Export clients with strong emphasis on the safety and well being of our staff, clients and their property. All procedures used during any treatment are carried out with strict adherence to treatment schedules to comply with MAF requirements for Import and Export goods. As we do not charge "what the market can bear" but rather what is a fair and reasonable cost for the service supplied our fees will always remain at a competitive level.
