The Story
Based on the novel by A.E.W. Mason,
the story takes place in 1898 in the Sudan. A British officer, Harry Faversham
(Heath Ledger), resigns his post just before the battle of Omdurman.
His fiancée and three friends present him with four white feathers,
symbolizing his cowardice. But Faversham plans to go undercover in the
hopes of redeeming himself.
